About:Hong Kong Octopus Card

Expiry date of Octopus Card in Hong Kong

1. Does the card has expiry date?
2. I have not use my Octopus Card for about 5 years. Will my value still be there or will it be expired?

It has no expiry date, but if you don't use it for 1,000 days or longer, it will be deactivate.
When you wanna reuse it, just go to any Customer Service Centre at MTR stations to have it reactivated for free and the balance of the card wll still be there.

Yes, you can. I remember you can do this at the Customer Service Center of Airport Express in HKIA.

Yes, it can be used to pay airport buses.

It can be used on all transport except taxi
