Hi, I'm visiting Canton fair Phase-1 in April 2014. I think the fair takes place in Pazhou complex in Guangzhou. As I have a limited budget for this travel, can you kindly help me to choose or suggest a good budget hotel nearby Pazhou complex. It will be great if you can also let me know the nearby locations suitable for decent budget hotel stay and easy transport to Pazhou complex to attend the fair. Thank you.

Most hotels near the Pazhou complex are expensive, especially during the Canton Fair. If you don't mind, I can recommend sevral budget ones which are around 4-5km away. Well then, Huiyin Hotel at Panjiang Garden, East Xingang Road, Haizhu District, near Modiesha Metro station, and BACK MYHOME HOTEL CHAIN at No. 537, Xinggang Middle road (Pazhou branch) are great choices.

Thank you for your recommendations. But, kindly let me know how would I check and book these hotels online. Do they have a website? Also, please let me know if the visitor entry pass is free of cost to visit the Canton fair or do they charge for the visitor entry pass?

These two hotels do not have their websites, so you may need to use other methods for booking. In my opinion, you can use the hotel booking service on this website and call them for booking directly. The phone number is (86-29) 8523 6688 Ext 555. They will help you to arrange everything well before you come to China. For the entry pass, if you apply one online, it is for free. If you do not register, you can buy the entry badge at the entrance and the fare is around 200RMB per person.
