work z to tourist l without leaving china

Question

Hi, my work permit has been cancelled but my resident permit is still valid until March 5 2014. How can I change my Z to L without leaving the country? My husband and I have been living in china for the last 13 years. And working for the same co at the same time. Will it be possible for me to get an extension as a tourist while I'm tying up loose ends? Thanks

I am afraid not. But you can visit local PSB 7 days before March 5 and ask directly if they accept your application or not.
