To take Taiping cable car at the foot of the mountain, you have to take a taxi from the Taiping to the north entrance, because there is no shuttle bus in operation. Therefore, it will be much easier to take a bus to the south entrance of the scenic area directly to take the Yungu cable car.

BTw, I wanna tell you that the upper station of Taiping cable car is only 800m to Paiyunlou Hotel.
