Malaysian passport applying for China Visa in Bangkok

Hi there, I'm currently on a travel visa in Thailand and wish to continue my travel to Xi'an, Guangzhou and Hongkong (for 8 days). Can I apply in Bangkok? I do not have work permit in Thailand...just travelling tourism purpose. What I have is all my confirmed and paid air tickets from Bangkok to Xi'an, Xi'an to Guangzhou, Hongkong to Bangkok and Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur and my hotel bookings.

All I can say is that you can give it a try. According to the latest requirements, people like you should provide the legal resident permits or visas in the third country. You might contact the embassy to confirm this.
