About:Flag-Raising Ceremony at Tiananmen Square

What time one should be there for Flag-Raising Ceremony at Tiananmen Square?

Hi,
I just booked a hotel to see this majestic performance.
On the 27th of Feb, if i didn't want to miss it, what time should i be there?
The reason why i am asking this is because i've told that it is really crowded by people.
Any ideas?
Thanx!

I went there during a Chinese holiday, so I went to the square so early. I remember around two hours before the flag-rasing time.
Since you go there on a Thursday, not a holiday or even a weekend, I think you may go there about one hour before, maybe around 06:00 in the morning.
I think you can consult the hotel staff to confirm again.
