About:West Lake (Xi Hu)

Which side of west lake have the most beautiful scenery?

Hi,
I'm planning to book an hotel at westlake side for 2 separate night(between it I will overnight at Huangshan). Could you please advice which part/side of westlake have the most beautiful scenery? West side (from Jinxi/Shangrila hotel arround), east side (from Liuying or Sofitel westlake arround) or from the south side (Xihu state guesthouse arround?
For additional information I really like photography, so it will be nice if I can take a beautiful photo from the hotel side so I don't need to explore to far since I have limited time only.
Plrase advice

It is suggested to live in Shangri-la Hotel, which is close to the Tomb of General Yuefei and the Su Causeway. I am sure you will not regret.

I saw Shangrila hangzhou reviews, it's looks like not so really good, beside that the room rate a bit high for me.
It's that means the west side of westlake has the best scenery? How about the east side such as at Liuying hotel, can I see a beatiful scenery?

Oh, yes. Liuying Hotel is also a good choice, from which you can see the beautiful scenery of the West Lake.
