About:Tibet Travel Permit

Foreigners with Residency Visas

I (and my group) are foreigners with China Residency Permits, here for full-time employment. Does this resident permit classification prohibit us from visiting Tibet?

It doesn't prohibit you from visiting Tibet. Instead, you should apply for another document Tibet Travel Permit if you want to go there. However, you can't go there alone since individual foreigners are not allowed to enter Tibet. The only way is to join a group tour arranged by qualified travel agencies.
