should i have transit visa for china for this flight?

Question

I have flight from China Southern Airlines for Sydney to Istanbul. It goes to Guangzhou and then to Urumçi and then to Istanbul. I am a Turkish citizen. If yes, can I get it when I arrive to China airport or should I get it before I go there? Thanks, Guler Erdonmez

Hi, if your total stay in China is less than 24 hours, then visa is not required. You just need to apply for a stay permit after arrival at Guangzhou airport. But if not, you have to apply for a transit G in advance in Australia.
