About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

transit visa for Indian National in trnasit thro' Hong Kong, for stay one night in Macau

I will be travelling from Osaka, Japan to Delhi, India, but due to non availability of connecting flight, have to spend one day in transit in Hong Kong.I want to directly go to Macau & stay there.Have booke Hotel as well for one night.
Do I need it at all or can enter & leave. If I need one, how long will it take to get one at Macau ferry terminal, and how much will it cost??What is 72 hours transit permit---does it mean free of visa??
thanks

Hi, if you transit via Hong Kong and stay overnight in Macao, you enjoy free entry to Macao showing your flight ticket. This 72 hour free transit is for mainland only such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc.
