About:Mid-Autumn Festival

Are there some public celebrations for Moon Festival around Shanghai or the nearby watertowns?

As tourists, can we see lantern displays, or dragon dances in public areas of Shanghai, or in Luzhi or other watertowns - Fengjing, Nanxun. Or in nearby Suzhou? We are putting an itinerary together for our visit to China and would much appreciate your advice.

Actually, dragon dances usually can be enjoyed during Chinese Spring Festival and there may not be such shows during Moon Festival. However, I remember there are some performances in Zhujiajiao Water Town in Shanghai during the festival. You may go for a try then!
