About:China Transit Visa

Do I need to apply for a transit visa if I don't plan to leave connection area of the airport?

I am Georgian citizen currently living in Germany. I have to fly to New Zealand and my flight has a connection in Shanhai Pudong airport. The lay over is 6 hours.

Visa is not required for such a short stopover in Shanghai.
