Is it still possible to get a Chinese tourist visa in Kathmandu?

Im a Canadian citizen who is wondering if anything has changed post September 2013 which would make it impossible for me to get it in Kathmandu. I will just be applying for one to the typical spots in mainland china none of the Tibet permit business, thanks in advance,
Charles Andreasen

Yes, it is possible for you to get one there. You should provide valid Nepal visa or valid Residence Permit in Nepal and its copy for application.
