Applied for visa in Tokyo

They told me that I must go through an agency. Why? Also, how very Chinese of them - I had to stand in line for an hour before they told me that. The first person who looked at my documents didn't say anything and simply gave me a number for the line.

Hi, it's true that you have to apply via travel agencies. The Chinese embassy in Japan has this regulation on its website.
