About:China Transit Visa

Transiting to Singapore through Shanghai, intending to stay a few days in China on the way back.

I'm a US citizen, will be 2 1/2 hours in Shanghai airport on my way to Singapore, 5 days in Shanghai a week later on the way back. Should I apply for a entry-visa?

You won't apply for your transit but you should apply for a single entry one for your five stay on your way back.
