About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I am a Canadian citizen working in Melbourne.

I will be traveling to China in April for 2 weeks to visit friends. Can I apply for a Chinese visa( I am a Canadian citizen) at the Chinese consulate in Melbourne ? Do I need my passport and travel itinerary? What is the cost?

Hi, you need to apply through the CVASC in Melbourne. Fee is AUD 88.5 for a single entry under regular processing. Yes, you need to provide your passport, round-trip ticket and hotel bookings. BTW, document showing your working status in Melbourne is also required.
