About:China Transit Visa

Colombian travelling via china

Hi I am going to travel from Seoul Korea via China with a layover of around 19hrs in Shanghai to go to the Maldives. I would like to visit shanghai do I need to apply for a visa before hand or can I do it at the airport in china? I am a colombian citizen.

Well, you should apply for a stay permit at the airport if you plan to go out of the airport for a visit.
