About:Chengdu Bus / Metro Search

Travelling in Chendu

I'm planning to go to Chendu from Chongqing (by bullet train) for visiting Leshan. Please help me with these questions.
1. Visiting Leshan Buddha statue , Should I better stay overnight at Leshan or only take one day trip from CD is enough?
2.How can I go to Xīnnánmén bus station from North railway station(CD Noeth Station) or from downtown?
3.Please recommend some good & not expensive hotels or GH at Leshan
4.Can I go to Leshan from Eimen ? How ? How long?

A one-day trip for Mt. Leshan is enough. You needn't stay there for a night. If possible, take a boat on the river to view the buddha from a distance. You can take No.28 or 55 bus from the north railway station to Xinnanlu (新南路) Station and then walk to the bus station. Yes, you can go to Leshan from Emei. If you go to Leshan after visiting Emei Mountain, then just take bus from Baoguosi (Baoguo Temple) Bus Station to Xiaoba Bus Station in Leshan. Then you can take No.13 bus or catch a taxi to the Giant Buddha. The taxi fare should be less than 20 RMB.
