About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I will be on a Princess cruise ship that will make a stop n shanghai from 7am and depart at 6pm

on April 28 2013 do i need a visa?

No, you can apply for a stay permit after arrival for a stopover less than 24 hours.
