About:China Visa Application in UK

Single entry tourist visa or double entry for going to different places (Shanghai/Xiamen) for day

Me and my husband are going on cruise in March. The ship will call at Shanghai in morning and leave for Xiamen on next stop for the day as well.
Can we get visa from Manchester China consulate direct instead of going to agent which charges a lot.
If we can apply by ourselves, how much is it and which is the correct address for Manchester China consulate?

Hi Fiona,
a single entry visa is ok.
you have to apply at the China Visa Application Service Center in Manchester, as the consulate does not accept visa application for ordinary passport holders.
the visa fee is GBP 30 and the service fee charged by the CVASC is GBP 36 (VAT inclusive).
it is located at First Floor, 75 Mosley Street, Manchester M2 3HR.
