About:China Work Visa

Accompanying wife and two children

Hi there, I have a job at an international school. They will will arrange my visa but do not do so for my family. What steps should I take to gain onr for my wife and children. My wife intends to look for work in China, is it possible for her to get a working type without first securing a job? If not, how hard is it to get one once she is in China? Many thanks for your help.

it is impossible to get a working type without securing a job.
it is not allowed to change visa type once she is in China. she can apply an S1 type to enter China, after she gets a job, she can apply a Z type in hong Kong (this should be agreed by her future employer).
