beijing capital airport to temple of heaven

Question

We will stay at the airport Hilton overnight and our flight leaves at 3pm. Would we have enough time if we left at 8am to visit the Temple of Heaven and get back for our flight? If so, which subway lines- and the price?We will be there on a Sunday. Thanks

Time is tight. By subway from your hotel to the Temple of Heavens takes about two hours, so you will reach the attraction about ten o'clock. If you still want to catch the flight at 3pm, you need to leave it at least at around 11:00. For visiting the Temple of Heaven, the average time is around 1.5 to 2 hours. If you still plan to visit it, it is suggested to leave early, maybe around 07:00.
