I need hotel information in Shanghai

Hi, I am boarding a cruise ship in SH on March 1st and would like to know what would be a convenient and nice hotel near the port. Is there more than 1 port location in SH? The port where I will be boarding is:
500 Dongdaming Rd. Hongkou SH China
Any info. would be greatly appreciated. What do you recommend to tour in SH since I will arrive a few days before I board the ship. Thank You,
