Wumen and forbidden city at nights

Can i walk up to wumen at night and take a photograph of the empty space? also where are good places to take night shots ?

Visitors are not allowed to walk up to Wumen at night. The forbidden city will close after 17:30 and visitrors are required to leave. The watch towers at night are very beautiful, so you can try to take photos of them at night.
