About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

How do I apply for this transit visa?

I am travelling from Hong Kong to Shanghai, then onwards to the UK within 72 hours. According to the rules, this does qualify for a transit permit. Yet when I contacted my airline, they didn't know anything about this. How do I apply for it?

Hi, you can contact the Shanghai Airtport directly for this. For my understanding, you can easily get it upon arrival providing your passport, confirmed ticket for leaving from Shanghai within 72 hours.
