What year in the Chinese calendar begins on January 31, 2014?

I have read that the New Year is the year 4712 in the Chinese year counting system. Is that correct?
Also, where do you write that on your webpage? I know it is the Year of the Horse, but I would like to see the number of the year. We are 2014 using the Gregorian calendar. We are 5774 using the Hebrew calendar. Is 2014, the Year of the Horse, the year 4712 in the Chinese calendar?
