About:Hong Kong Visa Application

Would it be better for her to apply at her local embassy or directly at the HK immigration dept?

Hi. My girlfriend is a Philippine Passport-holder living in Canada and she's hoping to take an extended vacation to Hong Kong for about 60 days, if possible.

Hi, it is the same either apply from Chinese embassy or the HK immigration department directly, because the application will be sent to HK for approval by the embassy/consulate. But if you reside in HK, you can apply it for her in person from the HK immigration department with documents sent to you from Canada.
