US PASSPORT HOLDER TRAVELING FROM US TO HONG KONG

Could you please illuminate the terrain for the following: can a US citizen/passport obtain entry into Hong Kong from the US without a visa? The objective is this gentleman will be coming with the intent of our hiring him as an employee in the very near future...

Hi, US passport holders enjoy free entry to HK for 90 days, but if he will work for a longer time, then work visa is required. Anyway, he can enter first and apply for it later.
