PUBLIC BUS TO MEILI SNOW MOUNTAIN

Hi,

2 of us will be in Shangri-La in early May 2014. Am planning to go to the Meili Snow Mountain from Shangri-La. Can anyone tell me what bus to take to the mountain? How long is the journey and the fare? Thank you.

Hi, you can take bus from Shangri-la to Deqin County first and the buses are available at 7:20,8:20,9:20 and 12:00 in the morning. The last one leaving for Deqin departs at 14:00 in the afternoon. The bus ticket fare is around CNY56-CNY76 and the journey takes about 6 hours. From Deqin, you may take shuttle bus to Meili Snow Mountain. Another convenient way is to hire a car from Shangri-la to Meili Snow Mountain directly. You are able to find the rental car service near Shangri-la Coach Station. The fare is around CNY600 per car and the price is higher on holidays. Hope it helps.
