What are the 2 pen marks on my double entry visa?

I have a double entry business type one. I have traveled to the country twice but the second time was via Hong Kong and as such should have counted as a transit. There are two marks in pen on it, does this mean the Chinese authorities have counted this as my 2 entries?
I have a very important meeting in a few days but now do not have enough time to get a new one. Is there a way round this?

Thanks

Sarah

Hi, HK is different from mainland PRC. That means the visit/transit to HK does not count an entry. But if you used up the two entries, you have to apply for a new one for this visit.
