About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Cheapest option for 2 3 month trips

Hello,
I am planning a trip and I would like to be in China from July to September 2013 and then again in Feb - March 2014. As my first trip will most likely be longer than 2 months I assume a 12 month multiple-entry will not be possible? Am I able to get a single entry for the first trip and then again for the second? Am I able to get two single entry visa's in that time frame?

If you have never been issued a Chinese tourist L before, then it is impossible for you to get a multiple entry this time. A single entry will be ok because you can extend it after entry if you want to stay longer.
