Is Octopus card work for the HK free airport express shuttle bus?

I wanna to take the Free Airport Express Shuttle Bus Service to hotel. It is showed on the website "Passengers are required to show proof of eligibility including Airport Express train ticket (Single Journey, Same Day Return, Round Trip, Airport Express Travel Pass), Airline ticket / boarding pass, Airport Staff Octopus Card, AsiaWorld-Expo entry pass or event ticket." Can I use the Octopus card (standard) as a proof? I will stay in HK for 11 Days, Think the standard octopus is more suitable for me.
