About:China Visa Exemption

US Citizen from ship to airport Shanghai

I am a US citizen wanting to debark a cruise ship and fly out of Shanghai. Do I need a visa to transit from the ship to the airport to fly to Australia?

Yes, you need to apply for a transit G type in advance for this.
