Requirement for Hong Kong and Guangzhou

Hello, I will traveling to Hong Kong, stay there for 3 days, visit the Great wall and then Guangzhou, then travel to Bangkok.two weeks later I will return to Hong Kong in transit on my way back to South Africa. do I require any visa for Hong Kong and entering China to visit Great wall and Guangzhou?
