Hi. I live in the UK and I am visiting my daughter in China for 10 days in a couple of months. If she sends an invitation letter, what documents will I/she need for me to get a visa? Also, what will need to be included in the invitation letter?Thanks

You can apply for a S1 type with invitation letter from your daughter and copies of her passport and residence permit.  The invitation letter should contain: (1) Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.) (2) Information on the planned visit (arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, etc.) (3) Information on the inviting entity or individual (name, contact telephone number, address, signature the inviting individual).
