Suit needed for meeting factory owner?

I'll be meeting a factory owner to discuss imports to Australia. Do I need to wear a suit for meetings? And should I bring a gift from Australia? What is a suitable gift?

If that is very formal meetings, you are suggested to wear a suit to show respect. If for casual meets, it will be fine to wear casually. But gift is not necessary at all. After all, the meetings are for business only!
