taxi round trip from beijing airport to mutianyu great wall

Question

We will have a 15-hr layover at BJ late March '14.  If we decide to go to Mutianyu Great Wall when arriving BJ, can we hire a taxi at the airport for a round trip or do we need to book in advance?  Is this safe? and what is the cost?  Thanks

Hey, it is ok for u to rent a taxi for a round trip between the airport and the section of the wall. I remember it costs around CNY400. To ensure that you can easily get a taxi upon lanidng (usually there are too many people waiting for a taxi in the airport), it is suggested to book one in advance and the hotline for taxi reservation is 96106. Oh, don't worry! It will be safe enough to take a taxi for the travel.
