I do have a Swedish Passport, can I apply VOA in Guangzhou. If yes what time does the visa office open?

No, if you plan to visit Guangzhou, you need to apply for a Chinese visa in advance. But if you transit via Guangzhou airport, you can enjoy 72 hour free stay there.0
