wintersummer to go to the longqing gorge?

Hi, I'm going to LongQing Ice Festival next february . I have the opportunity to go back in october and I want to take the boat, do bungee, etc, I feel that it's better to do it during summer time, or can it be done during winter? Is there anyway to get from Mutianyu Great Wall to LongQing (bus, train)? Thanks.

It is suggested to go to the Bungee and the boating in summer time. It is hard to be done in winter. The Mutianyu and Longqing Gorge are far away from each other and there is about 130km between. If you want to go, it is suggested to hire a local car in Huairou District to Mutianyu directly, because transfering among several buses is complex for you. Comparatively, the Longqing Gorge and the Badaling are much closer, about 3km.
