Visa issue with Egyption passport and Canadian passport

Hi there we r planning a trip to china as a family. Me and my husband have Egyptions passport and our daughter has Canadian passport. 1. Does my daughter require one also?! 2. Can I apply to my husband or he should present at embassy by self?! 3. How long it takes to issue single entry visit type?! 4. How much it costs per person for getting one?!
