What Visa should i use to bring my cousin to China

My wife and I are have work permit/alien residency here. We would like to invite my wife's cousin to take care of our son while we are at work. Before the typhoon haiyan, my son was taken cared by my mother in Leyte, but due to the devastation in Leyte we decided to bring our son here. My wife took 2 months leave. Now that here leave is about to end, we want to invite our cousin to stay with us. We would like to know if applying for S2 type is suitable for her. any additional adivce you can share, do let me know

I am afraid your wife's cousin is not able to apply for S2 type, but only tourist L for short-term. Maybe you can send her an invitation letter and copies of your passport and residence permit then have a try. Anyway, consular officers have the final say to the application.
