About:Visa Policy of China

What type of Visa do I need for transfer between Shanghai Hongqiao and Shanghai Pudong airports?

I am citizen of the UK, currently living on a student visa in Japan. I am flying in from Japan to Hongqiao then from Pudong to Bangkok. Time between arrival in Hongqiao departure from Pudong is 5 hours.

You just need to apply for a stay permit after arrival at Hongqiao Airport with your passport and the ticket for leaving. It is easy for you to do so.
