About:China Visa Fees

leaving with a ticket on 1st February 2014 at 1:30am, but my X expires on 31st January 2014.

Hey there,

I'm an Australian living in Shanghai. My Student Visa finishes on 31st January 2014 and my flight back home is 1st February 2014 at 1:30am. If I check-in the airport and clear customs before midnight and go to my flight will I be ok?

Otherwise, what could happen - anyone been in that situation?

Don't worry, it is ok if you clear customs before midnight.

Hi Clark, thanks very much for your response.

Have you been or heard of someone in the same situation?

I guess I'm just safeguarding against the worst case scenario - but what if I didn't clear customs in time and do you know whether they'd still let me go to my flight with no monetary penalty or black mark for future applications? Cheers =)

Hi Cooper, take it easy. Actually it is not a serious issue as you think about. One and a half hr delay can not even be considered as an overstay, moreover you will plan to arrive at the airport before midnight.
