About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

If my UAE resident visa expires in 5 months, would you be able to issue me a Chinese visa for travel

Also I needed to know when the Embassy will be closed for Chinese New Year?

Previously, it requires that the applicants who applied in the third country should provide the resident permit valid more than six months. However, it doesn't specify this issue in the new regulations. And the Chinese embassy in UAE hasn't published 2014 holiday arrangement. I think you need to confirm these two issues with the Chinese embassy.
