About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Can I use different airports in the same city?

Can I fly in hongqiao(sha), depart from pudong(pvg)? Stay in shanghai using different airports to get in and out? How do they count 72 hour? Exact time of landing and departing?

You can do that if you stay less than 72 hours in Shanghai. And I think you should confirm the "72 hours" with your airlines because they finally decide whether you will be allowed to board the plane.
