About:China Work Visa

Working in PRC WITHOUT a specific employer

Hi there! My partner and I are planning to travel round china and are considering teaching to pay our way around. Is it possible to get a L type, and then apply for a Z type when we find employment? Or do you have to obtain an employer and a Z type before you enter the country?
Any help would be great.
Thanks so much,
Tania

I think you should apply for a Z type in advance before you enter PRC. Before you apply for the Z type, you should apply for the work permit with the help of your employer. So I think you may not change L into a Z type after you come to PRC.

Through china visa agency it is possible change L to Z.
But it will cost expensive. If u dont through agency, u need return u r country and enter again to PRC.
