one day overstay

Question

i have a ticket out of China on 8th January noon. However my visa is until 7th January. will it be a big problem. ill be paying alot to buy another ticket for 7th or earlier at this time. and have to lose my existing ticket as well. what are my other options? too late to apply for an extension when PSB opens tomorrow?

Yes, it's too late for you to extend your current. You should apply for the extension seven working days in advance. I think it's better to reschedule your flight so that you won't overystay in PRC. I am not sure if the overstaying will affect your future applications for Chinese visa.
