My boyfriend is a Rooster and I'm a dog, would this relationship be compatible?

My boyfriend's bithdate is Jan-7-1993 and he is a rooster, and he knows he is and he shows it quite often. We have desputes with eachother but they are never bad to the point we would want to leave eachother. would this relationship have any future even if we are somewhat compatible?
