hotel registration

Question

Can you tell me how the hotel registration works, please? I have two days stop over at BEijing airport. Do I have to register with a hotel or police station?Many thanks

You will be required to register at the local PSB if you stays at a local's home. If you stay at the hotel that is qualified to receive foreign guests, you won't be worried about registration problem because the hotel staff will handle everything properly when you check in.
