About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I was hoping someone could tell me if I qualify for the transit.

Hi,

I arrive in Shanghai from Bangkok at 9 o'clock pm and my flight to Amsterdam will be leaving next day at 11pm. But I already have two expired chinese visa's in my passport, from a month before. Will this be a problem?

Thanks!!

According to the requirements, you can enjoy 72 hours free transit because you are qualified for the requirements. However, you have two expired stamps on your passport. This might influence your 72 hours free transit. I think you might call Shanghai Airport Immigration Inspection at 0086-21-51105100 to confirm if you can enjoy 72 hours free transit. Or you can apply for a transit type in advance if you are worried of being rejected for 72 hours free transit.
